What Are They Doing?

U.S. lawmakers taking part in a protest outside the Sudanese embasy are arested for disorderly conduct.

I got some questions about this.

Why are they protesting? Why should they care about another country's affairs?

First of all, it seems to me that these congressman do not care very much about their own country than about how this country looks to other nations. And to answer the first question, I do not have a problem with them protesting, but to be arrested on disorderly conduct is unbecoming of a U.S. congressperson and such an offence should be punished with impeachment. It's all in the constitution if you want to read it.
